Abstract of the Project Gym Website:
The purpose of Gym Website is to automate the existing manual system by
the help of computerized equipments and full-fledged computer software, fulfilling
their requirements, so that their valuable data/information can be stored for a longer
period with easy accessing and manipulation of the same. The required software and
hardware are easily available and easy to work with.

Gym Website, as described above, can lead to error free, secure, reliable and
fast management system. It can assist the user to concentrate on their other activities
rather to concentrate on the record keeping. Thus it will help organization in better
utilization of resources. The organization can maintain computerized records without
redundant entries. That means that one need not be distracted by information that is
not relevant, while being able to reach the information.

The aim is to automate its existing manual system by the help of

computerized equipments and full-fledged computer software,

fulfilling their requirements, so that their valuable data/information

manipulation of the same. Basically the project describes how to

manage for good performance and better services for the clients.

 INTRODUCTION

1.1 GENERAL:

The "Gym Website" has been developed to override the problems prevailing in the
practicing manual system. This software is supported to eliminate and in some cases
reduce the hardships faced by this existing system. Moreover this system is designed
for the particular need of the company to carry out operations in a smooth and
effective manner.

The application is reduced as much as possible to avoid errors while entering the
data. It also provides error message while entering invalid data. No formal
knowledge is needed for the user to use this system. Thus by this all it proves it is
user-friendly. Gym Website , as described above, can lead to error free, secure,
reliable and fast management system. It can assist the user to concentrate on their
other activities rather to concentrate on the record keeping. Thus it will help
organization in better utilization of resources.

1.2 OVERVIEW:

The project will take input as text or long paragraphs, then the

processor will count all the collection of words separated with a

space blank. Space blank acts as a reminder for the processor, it

counts the array of alphabets and adds it to the previous value. To

implement these things Javascript is well suited. Javascript lets the

processor take arithmetic operations also.

And CSS is used to make it look more attractive like in this project

we can change colour of background and so much more so it

doesn’t look a boring to the user.

1.3 LITERATURE SURVEY:

Every organization, whether big or small, has challenges to overcome and managing
the information of Trainer, Gym, Facility, Time Slot, Fitness Class. Every Gym
Website has different Gym needs, therefore we design exclusive employee
management systems that are adapted to your managerial requirements. This is
designed to assist in strategic planning, and will help you ensure that your
organization is equipped with the right level of information and details for your
future goals. Also, for those busy executive who are always on the go, our systems
come with remote access features, which will allow you to manage your workforce
anytime, at all times. These systems will ultimately allow you to better manage
resources.

The main objective of the Project on Gym Website is to manage the details
of Gym, Trainer, Memeber, Facility, Fitness Class. It manages all the information
about Gym, Time Slot, Fitness Class, Gym. The project is totally built at
administrative end and thus only the administrator is guaranteed the access. The
purpose of the project is to build an application program to reduce the manual work
for managing the Gym, Trainer, Time Slot, Memeber. It tracks all the details about
the Memeber, Facility, Fitness Class.

1.4 PROBLEM STATEMENT:

The Project was made in order to effectively and efficiently cater to requirements of
the fitness center.Very frequently the person who generally holds the tasks to manage
the center needs to keep records of all the transactions as well as data mannually .
Gennerally, In order to structure these tasks Separate Registers are maintained.This
whole process thus becomes quite cumbersome for them to control
manually.Moreover,Any wrong data entered mistakenly can brings serious results.

This Mannually Managed system of the store was also heavily proned to data loss
due to certain causes Misplacement of Registers,Destruction of Registers
,Unauthorized access to registers etc. which can bring in disasterous Consquences.

Data Redundency is also a great issue in such kind of system.”Redundency”

means repititon;Thus data modified or updated at a particular place may not be
data modified or updated at the other related place which may create
inconsistencies in data handling,Destroys Data Integrity and creates confusion for
the owner.

Searching a particular data specific to particular requirements is also very tedious in

such system.In order to retrieve records,The responsible person needs to manually
locate the appropriate register and locate the appropriate placement of that particular
record which may be very time consuming.

1.5 Scope of study

It may help collecting perfect management in details. In a very short time, the
collection will be obvious, simple and sensible. It will help a person to know the
management of passed year perfectly and vividly. It also helps in current all works
relative to Gym Website. It will be also reduced the cost of collecting the
management & collection procedure will go on smoothly.

Our project aims at Business process automation, i.e. we have tried to computerize
various processes of Gym Website.

 In computer system the person has to fill the various forms & number of
copies of the forms can be easily generated at a time.
 In computer system, it is not necessary to create the manifest but we can
directly print it, which saves our time.
 To assist the staff in capturing the effort spent on their respective working
areas.
 To utilize resources in an efficient manner by increasing their productivity
through automation.
 The system generates types of information that can be used for various
purposes.
 It satisfy the user requirement
 Be easy to understand by the user and operator
 Be easy to operate
 Have a good user interface
 Be expandable
 Delivered on schedule within the budget.

 SYSTEM ANALYSIS

2.1 PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION:

The first step in the system development life cycle is the

preliminary investigation to determine the feasibility of the system.

The purpose of the preliminary investigation is to evaluate project

requests. It is not a design study nor does it include the collection

of details to describe the business system in all respect. Rather, it is

the collecting of information that helps committee members to

evaluate the merits of the project request and make an informed

judgment about the feasibility of the proposed project.

Analysts working on the preliminary investigation should

accomplish the following objectives:

• Clarify and understand the project request

• Determine the size of the project.

• Assess costs and benefits of alternative approaches.

• Determine the technical and operational feasibility of

alternative approaches.

• Report the findings to management, with recommendations

outlining the acceptance or rejection of the proposal.
