 Theme of Ritual:

​Celebration for Abundance in Life

Signs and symbols that will be used in the ritual:
• White shirt - symbolizes new beginnings with a stronger faith and cleansed body, mind,
and soul.
• Box - symbolizes treasured memories or experiences.
• Bible - symbolize as guide of living.
• Cherished possession:
Ring – symbolizes the unconditional love and sacrifices of my mother which I’m
grateful the most.
Crucifix necklace – I’m thankful that my parents gave it to me since when I
have it I always feel protected and safe.
Sea shell necklace – ​This sea shall necklace was made in langlang lagoon in
Solomon islands. It is a unique form of identity when wearing it, people can
easily identify you in distance.They use it In marriage costume of the pride as a
form of traditional money.
Watch – A watch that was a gift to my father from my mother passed on to me, in
which I see as a treasure.
Diamond ring – a ring that my parents gave to me when I graduated junior high
school. I'm grateful that I have that because it is a constant reminder that I should
focus on my priorities (studying and family). It also gives me hope and strength
to continue whenever I encounter some difficulties in life.
STEPS OF THE RITUAL
1. ​Changing of clothes, members will
wear white shirts before they go to
their meeting place.
2.​ ​Members will bring bible
3. ​Members will find a place where they
can celebrate the abundance from
above.
4. ​In their chosen place, members will
form a circle and they will put their
cherished possession in the center.
5.​ ​Members will hold each other hands
​ hen, one member will lead the

opening prayer.
7. After the opening prayer, each
member will show their cherished
possession and convey their
sentiments about what they are
grateful for.
8.. The members will pray for the
snacks.
MEANINGS
The change of t-shirt means our old ways are
gone, in His great mercy, He has given us a
new birth into living hope.
The bible serves us a lamp or light for us to
know if we are still in the right path.
Finding a place means we can find ways to
find our safe haven, we can find a way to go
back to the one who loved us more than we
will ever know.
Forming a circle means we are united. We
outlook for the same goal, to have a deeper
relationship with God.
The holding hands symbolizes the sympathy
we give to each member and willingness to
hear each happy moment and desperate plea.
Opening prayer means asking for wisdom to
fathom each other and asking for the Holy
Spirit to bear its fruit to us.
The sharing depicts that we are able to be
transparent and really part of the celebration.
Praying before eating means we are grateful
that we have something to eat.
10. Members will share to each other the
sweet rice cake “biko” with syrup
caramel “latik”.
11. After we eat, one member will collect
our donation and put it in the box.
12. For the closing prayer, members will
form a circle then hold each other's
hand, and all together will pray
silently. Members will use the ACTS
Method of prayer ( Adoration,
Confession, Thanksgiving and
Supplication ).
The sticky consistency of the rice cake
symbolizes the healthy bond between us will
stick through the years.
The syrup caramel or latik will symbolize the
sweetness of love that He gave us.
The donation symbolizes the abundance of
blessings to us, we want that abundance to
share to other people.
Adoration, members tell God how amazing He
is. Confession, members confess their sins and
ask for forgiveness. Thanksgiving, tell God
what we're grateful for. And supplication, tell
God what we need and what our other
members need.
