VO: Ladies and gentlemen, let us all welcome our masters of ceremonies, Mr. Albert Rosete and Ms.
Angelique Mae Firman.

1: Another school year is ending. It creates a sense of wonder and the unfailing hope on what is to come.
For Seniors, it is the closing of their High School journey towards reaching a goal- a dream. For Juniors, the
anticipation of another year oozing with so much opportunities and responsibilities.
2: Tonight, we take a break from seemingly unending struggle with books and examinations, to recollect
memories that will last for a lifetime. We take a pause from continuous search for the answers of what we want
to be. Tonight we come together to find a special meaning in our young lives and eventually wake up to the
realization that the new world we face is a greatly expanded one, and a world filled of tremendous
responsibilities.
B: Ladies and Gentlemen tonight we commemorate and celebrate our special get together, the Juniors-
Seniors Promenade.
VO: Ladies and gentlemen, let us all welcome our stunning Juniors and our dazzling Seniors in their

1: Tonight is the night everyone shines with love and peace inspired by Hollywood’s Glitz and Glam
2: Tonight, Theresians come together as one family in this annual tradition where we bring about the spirit
of friendship, camaraderie, love and unity.
1: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the JUNIORS
2: and SENIORS PROMENADE 2019

1: Without further ado, let us formally begin this celebration of love and friendship by asking our heavenly
Father, the source of love to bless us in this special event thru a communal prayer to be followed by the
Philippine National Anthem led by Trisha Ainee Ychon. Please all rise.

1: Beauty. Passion and Grace.
2: Poise. Personality and Family.
1: All these will be exemplified tonight as we journey to another remarkable night in our students’ high
school life.
2: And now, we move forward to the heart and soul of our event tonight, the turn- over ceremony.
1: We begin with the warm welcome coming from our Grade 9 students—the Juniors.

2: At this point, we now proceed to the lighting of torch led by Mr. John Paul Lorenzo, Junior High
Faculty.

2: And now ladies and gentlemen, we witness the solemn exchange of Candles and Flowers by our juniors
and seniors as a symbol of their endless bond as Theresian brothers and sisters sustaining their legacy

1: The rose is the symbol of gratitude of the Juniors for the wonderful memories and sweet successes the
seniors have imparted to them.
2: The candle represents the light and hope, the seniors will leave to the Juniors with the hope that they
may be guided in their journey towards success.

1: At this juncture, we now proceed to the most symbolic portion of our turn- over ceremony,

2: May we now call on our Theresian seniors with the symbolic treasures of STCDCFI’s charism; for 11
years now, this has been a long tradition done by our juniors and seniors as they pass on the mantle of
trust and leadership to the next batch of Theresians.

1: Congratulations dear Juniors and Seniors! Let us all give them a round of applause! A beautiful
tradition. A symbolic gesture of Theresian freindship and love.
2: And now dear ladies and gentlemen, let us all listen to the Exchange of Songs rendered by the Juniors
and Seniors as they sincerely impart to each other their Theresian love and camaraderie.

1: And to give this event its true meaning and sparkle with her warm words of Love and Inspiration, let us
welcome our ever- supportive not to mention radiant School Head and President, Ms. Annie C. Corpin.

2: Thank you so much Ma’am Annie for sheding light into this meaningful celebration. We will truly
remember your words of love etched in our hearts.

1: That ends the first part of our programme. Wow! It was indeed a beautiful exchange of smiles, splendor
and sincere love for every Theresian. Am I right Maam?
2: Of course Sir, and that was just the first part. This night gets better and better as our celebrities-
wannabe get the best time of their high school life.
1: Yes, and now the best part begins as we partake the sumptuous food prepared for us tonight by no other
than Summit Hotel. May we now call on Ms. Daniela Dacuyan for the prayer before meals. Please rise.

1: Now, dinner will be served by table number. We will start off with table # ___ for the left station and
table #__ in the right buffet station. While waiting for your table to be called, you may make use of our
photobooth services.

2: Yes and in the meantime as well, we will be playing an AVP depicting the journey of our Grades 9 and
10 students throughout their wonderful stay here in STCDCFI.

1: Hope your stomachs are full because we will be pumped up with tonight’s second part of the
celebration. Hollywood
2: Some people just dream of. But while we are still in the beauty of Tacloban City, Philippines, let us in
the meantime experience Hollywood through the wonderful and graceful steps of our dear students.
B: Ladies and gentlemen, our Juniors and Seniors Batch 2018- 2019 in the Cotillion de Honor. Let us give
them a round of applause.

2: Magnificent students! What a superb way of showing grace, passion and Hollywood inspiration.
1: Theresians are indeed beautiful inside and out. Congratulations to the Cotillion dancers with of course
their mentor, Ms. Angelique Firman.
2: Thank you sir! And now, we witness another astig- to- the- bones and groundbreaking performance from
no other than the Grade 9 batch, let us all welcome Gr 9!

dance with them. Whether fast or slow, make sure to always have the social graces and the right

2: At this juncture, let us all welcome Lance Dominique Raquel and Nin Elaiza Magnawa the class
presidents of Grade 10 for their special message and toast for the Batch.
1: Thank you Nina and Lance! That was indeed a significant toast and a very inspiring message for all the
Junirs and Seniors.
2: At this point, to formally end this evening of poise, elegance and significance, may we call on Keannah
Hanginan, Grade 10 representative for her closing remarks.

indeed take this night as part of our beautiful memories forever marked in the Theresian heart.
2: Indeed. Daddy God has blessed us with so much that we are able to spend this Sunday night with our
High School family. Let us be grateful to Daddy God for his abundance and grace as we all stand for the
closing prayer to be followed by the singing of the STCDCFI Hymn.
