I. INTRODUCTION
International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is an
independent non-governmental organization with a membership of 164
national standards bodies.
Through its members,it brings togetherexperts to share knowledge and
develop voluntary, consensus-based, market relevant International
Standards that support innovation and provide solutions to global
challenges.

ISO is an international standardfor quality management systems. It

covers the planning, the managementand operation of any organization.
It spells out the total quality management principles that is costumer
focus, leadershio driven, involvement of people, process approach, system
approach, continual improvement and factual approach.

II. OBJECTIVE
 To be acquainted with the principles of International Organization
for Standardization
 To familiarize and apply the 5s as a factor for quality management

