Ignition OFF
Accelerator pedal sensor
connector DISCONNECTED
ECU Connector
CONNECTED
Check the continuity between
pin B and pin C of the
accelerator pedal sensor

Ignition OFF
Examine the short circuit
Does continuity between signal and ground
NO YES Repair/replace the wiring
exist?

Clear the error codes and
verify

Step 6

Ignition OFF
Accelerator pedal sensor
connector DISCONNECTED
ECU connector CONNECTED
Check the continuity between
pin A and pin C of the
accelerator pedal sensor
connector

Ignition OFF
Examine the short circuit
Does continuity of reference to signal line
NO YES Repair/replace the wiring
exist?

Clear the error codes and
