MY POLITICAL SELF

My political self is described by above pictures. I believe Political participation of citizens is vital for the unity and
development of nations. I engage myself in politics through watch news every morning and night because as a person
part of a whole nation it is necessary to be updated to what is happening in the surroundings inside and outside the
country. I always observe what politicians doing because every decision they made affect every human life. They are the
ones implementing the rules and law of this country, hence they must obey it first and portray the equality and equity of
it. There are no rich and poor when it comes to law. Law is law and should be followed. Even the richest people in the
world, if they commit crimes they must be in jail. That should be the basic principles of every politician and citizen like
me.

Also, as part of Youth community , not just elder people but also my ages can voice out their opinions in the
government. There are many ways to express out thoughts and beliefs. In my case, I always watch the debates of the
candidates every election to know their capabilities and true selves when it comes to governance. In simple way of
choosing who are the deserving candidates can cause a big change. There are many corrupt politicians that hide their
true selves to trick every one of us. So, critical decisions should be made every election.

I believe every ink of pen I put in a ballot can determine the future of this nation and mine. Maybe I do not
express my opinions in public way but I stick to my beliefs and values in life to vote wisely. This political self of mine is I
learned from my parents. They taught me to choose candidates in election who have heart of good man, who did many
great things, and honest in all aspects of their lives because my vote is my voice.

MY DIGITAL SELF
 This is my digital self. I always watch Korean dramas because I feel like the characters are like me. I see myself
in situations in the dramas that’s why I tend to watch them several times. I always check my phone in the morning to
check any updates in my Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and Twitter. I post my idea self in them, I express my thoughts
and feelings about certain topics and people I see in it. My gadgets are form of my communication to other people.

I formed my own world in it because that id what and who I want to be unlike in real world where negativity
and criticism sometimes take away my confidence and esteem. I get many ideas in my digital world. I imagine many
things and make decisions because of it. I follow what is trend in social media because I want people to see me as I am
capable of to buy it. I spend most of my time watching movies, posting my extended self and liking people in social
media. I listen to music in it because that is one of my tool to cope up in stress.

As time passes by, I created the self sometimes who I do not even know. I tend question myself who they like,
is it me or ideal me? I am bit afraid that once people see me in person will compare me to my digital self. I am afraid that
more criticism will increase if they saw the real me. But there are people who supported me to all my posts. They like
the real me and taught me to be true to myself even in digital platforms. Then, I posted even the pictures I feel like I’m
ugly and broke. Now, I learned to manage my time. I spend most of my time in my family and pets than in social media. I
created imaginative world as inspiration and dedication to the good things I make.
