Activity 1: Who Is Filipino?

Cut out picture or illustrations from magazine and newspapers that show what being a Filipino is about.

Paste them on a short bond paper.

ANALYSIS:

1. How do pictures remind you of your being a Filipino?

 This pictures remind me that old Filipino culture is the best. Filipinos before are most polite and

respectful. The helpfulness of the Filipinos is still there until now or also known as “BAYANIHAN”.

2. Are you proud of being a Filipino? Why and why not?

 Yes, because this is my nationality, I was born a Filipino so that there are no reason not to proud

of it, we need to be proud as a Filipino because there are so many Filipino legends that fight our

country.

3. Imagine that you were of a different nationality. What would you change in you aside from your

citizenship and origin?

 It depends where country I am. I will base my behaviour and personality depending on the

people I interact with in that area.

4. How extensive are the effects of being Filipino in your selfhood?

 For me, being a Filipino has a big impact on myself because almost all Filipinos think the same

way. They quickly agree on things even though they know if will work and many Filipinos are

quick to judge others even if they do not know the real situation it seems like they already know

2. Discuss how being a Filipino affects your “self”. How can becoming a better Filipino influence your

duty to becoming a better version of yourself?

 Being a Filipino has a big impact on myself, because first of all it is my nationality, this is where
I was born, this is where I grew up, it was here that I first stumbled and got up, hurt and prayed.

Being Filipino is a great honor for me, besides being happy to be Filipino, it is also nice to be

Filipino, even though almost everyone here is judgemental, many people will still believe in

you. I learned a lot from being a Filipino, one of which is being polite, being with people, being

shy, loving, laughing and most of all is being sympathetic. I know that not all Filipinos are the

same, you will recognized someone who is true to you and will support you even if you are not

with them and there is only one who is true to you when you only face them.
