Give the function of the following personnel

Pharmacist
supervise the medicines supply chain and ensure pharmacy premises and
systems are fit for purpose. advise other healthcare professionals about safe
and effective medicines use, and safe and secure supply of medicines. respond
to patients' symptoms and advise on medicines for sale in pharmacies.

Pharmacy technician
Works under licensed pharmacist to prepare and dispense medications to
patients and medical providers. Ensures that prescriptions are filled properly
and quickly. Delivers medications to patients and
processes pharmacy purchases.

Auxiliary/ assistant pharmacy staff


Performs administrative duties, including answering phones, receiving and
inputting prescription orders, operating cash registers, and restocking
inventory. Gathers, organises, and assesses patient information. Supplies
patients with information and education on their prescriptions.

Untrained medicine seller


They perceived themselves as integrated into the social and medical
landscape of their clients, they also recognized their limitations in capacity and
described good relationships with formal health workers to whom they
referred clients but they still lack training or some requirement.
Give the importance of pharmacy supportive personnel in the pharmacy
setting in the Philippines

-Help to perform duties assigned by heads and they are also trained to
become professionals

-Supportive personnel is a person other than a liscensed pharmacy intern or


pharmacy technician who may be performing duties assigned by the
pharmacist under direct supervision and they are assigned to a particular
service who has been approved by the chief of the service as having sufficient
training and experience to perform his assigned task.
