Last Thursday, On December 22 2020, a fire took place in our school in the
chemistry lab. The fire happened at 11:30am. Our chemistry teacher MS Salma
tried to put the fire out but the fire got even larger. So we had to exit the building.
We directly called the fire department.
Most of the fire fighters came at around 11:40am, it took them 5 minutes to get
to the school but the fire spread so fast, it spread all around the science classes
and it was terrifying it took 30 minutes for the fire fighters to put the fire out.
Happily, no one was trapped or injured by the fire. The teachers tried to get
everyone out of the building safely. All of the students were panicking but the
teachers calmed us down. The only downside of the fire it ruined the building
colors and all of the chairs and tables were either ash colored or melted
The police are investigating what could have caused the fire. All they know is that
the chemicals in the chemistry lab were flammable so they are trying to find out
why they set on fire in the first place but the teachers were relieved that no one
was hurt in the fire.
