FIRE DRILL SCENARIO

The weather is fair and calm at Solomon Integrated School de lloilo. It was 11 o'clock in the
morning of October 10, 2022 and everybody is in the usual means of doing their pertinent morning
tasks . Manong Matt, the school guard, is on his post securing the safety of all. Manong Richard is
on his tasks, too. The teachers are on their respective classes when T. Eljie the Grade 4 adviser
(Grade 4 Student) noticed the smoke that gets in the room . She, Immediately went out of the
room to check it . Upon checking , The Student found out that there was an igniting fire from the
pile of combustible materials at the back portion of the school. The Student frantically went to
Teacher Eljie and sought for help. Student and T. Ejie exclamimed , " There's a firel Heeeeelp ! "
Manong Matt who is our school guard ran to the buzzer and rang it out without delay upon
hearing T. Ellie's wheezing shout. Then Manong Guard verify first if there is actual fire. Then
manong guard informed the principal that there is fire. The principal together with the assigned
teachers rang their whistles to signal the Immediate evacuation procedure. The members of the
emergency task force have instantly situated themselves well and carried on with their own
designated tasks Nong Richard , who is in control of the school's electrical system turned off the
main switch straight away to prevent the fire from spreading out . Without more delays , Ms. Lolit
called up the Jaro Fire Department to request for an urgent help needed and a fire engine to put
the fire off , Manong Matt , who is also held responsible for the safety of the pupils coordinated
with every teacher inside the classroom to guide and aide them in a systematic manner per grade
level from moving out of the classrooms and went directly towards one of the safety zones ,
outside the school campus , in front of Councilor Ed Peñaredondo's house , through the use of a
whistle . The children in the second floor assembled themselves and took the stairs for
evacuation . Upon evacuating , RM , a Grade Six pupil accidentally fell down the but still able to
walk with the help of Teacher Pat . He stairs and got a mild fracture on his arm . is then given to
the medical team for immediate first aid Simultaneously , the two personnel designated to use the
fire extinguishers have started to put off the fire while Teacher Anne , the team leader of the
evacuation , ordered the respective teacher adviser of each grade level to conduct the head count
immediately including all persons inside the school premise The rescue team searches for every
room and checks out trapped pupils most especially in the library , computer room , and restrooms
where no teacher is regularly staying and assisting the pupils beating in mind to bring trapped
pupils to the safety zone where the medical team awaits for the immediate first aid procedure .
Meanwhile , after the headcount where all the pupils , personnel , and other people inside the
premise were fully counted , Teacher Anne then proceed directly to Teacher Maristella to report
the total number of evacuees . As soon as the directive coming from the overs - all coordinator of
the emergency task force that it is already safe for everyone to go back to the building , a safety
buzzer signal or whistle will be rang / sounded by the designated person .
