READ THIS! IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS WHEN ASSIGNING LEARNERS TO A MODALITY

1. Distance Learning and Blended Learning will entail some degree of self-directed learning. Generally, the older the learners, the more independent they are.
Presumably, younger learners will need closer supervision and more intensive support from the parent or other household member (or community partner in
the absence of a household member).
2. Beginning readers in K to 3 and struggling readers in Grades 4 to 12 will need special consideration and appropriate intervention.
3. For Grades 11-12, consider the practical work (laboratory or workshop) required to prepare for work, TVET or higher education.
4. Consider also the specific requirements of persons with disabilities (PWDs), indigenous peoples (Ips), and other groups with special needs.
