Exertion made:

In this week I worked with Human Resources Information System. Which is maintaining up to date
employee personal information & other important profile in a data based software. Make necessary
update in HRIS software by maintaining liaison with MIS department. Maintain CV bank in the data
based software. I’m working with it and it seems very much confidential because it maintains all
employees’ information.

Learning’s/ achievements:

A HRIS, which is also known as a human resource information system or human resource
management system (HRMS), is basically an intersection of human resources and information
technology through HR software. This allows HR activities and processes to occur electronically.
From HRIS my lernings are maintained up to date employee personal information & other
important profile in a data based software. Maintain information of Blood group of all employees in
data based software so that at the time emergency employees having the required blood group can
easily be identified. Maintain information of date of birth of all management employees in data
based software so that we can greet them accordingly. Maintain information of existing and
outgoing employees separately in the data based software. And lastly, maintain CV bank in the
data based software.

Notable incidents:

In the very first day of this work I done wrong thing which is not proper maintain information of
existing and outgoing employees separately in the data based software. My coordinator faces this
problem with department of MIS. Because the whole storage system depends on them and only
they can change the data. My coordinator contacts with them and manage them to correct the
wrong thing.

Observations/ reflections:

From Human Resource Information System (HRIS) my observation is HRIS allows a company to
plan its HR costs more effectively, as well as to manage them and control them without needing to
allocate too many resources toward them.
