Exertion made:

It’s been exactly two & half month I’m working in Concord Group of Companies at Human
Resource Management and Development Department as intern. I have learned lots of thing
practically so far. I have worked in this week to how to operate BD Jobs for Employer and how to
short listing the candidates CV.

Learning’s/ achievements:

I am not an expert, but can definitely share with you what I have learned.

- Get the job description and the person specification from the department giving the important
responsibilities of the job and the person specification will include the educational qualification,
age, experience, skills and competencies required to do that job.

- Categorize resumes into A or B categories and the ones which do not fit should be kept in the
databank for future requirements. A is the one that almost matches with the essential skills/person
specification, B for resumes that matches to a lesser extent.

As for identifying fraud resumes, one will have to carefully go through each and every line. But an
expert may still get around the system and get shortlisted. Many a times, even expert recruiters are
not able to detect such cases.

Notable incidents:

In this week I was seeing an incident with this scenario that my coworker Executive HR Mr.
Abdullah Al Noman Works with CV short listing. He gives me top to bottom information about the
works which is I actually shows in my learning’s.

Observations/ reflections:

From this part my observations were that these works were very essential matter. So that always
handles these types of works very with caution. I always take suggestion from the senior
employees and sensible people to do the work very thoughtfully for the organization.
