Exertion made:

It’s been almost one& half month I’m working in Concord Group of Companies at Human Resource
Management and Development Department as intern. I have learned lots of thing practically so
far.I has worked in this week to preparing interview schedule, conducting interview, preparing
interview feedback, and lastly recruitment approval.

Learning’s/ achievements:

As an Intern, basically my responsibilities are to help HRD to recruit new employee. Concord
Group recruits employees by systematic way. After receiving manpower requisition from Corporate
Affairs department HRD step ahead to recruit new employee for the vacant or new created
position. After CV shorting HRD prepare interview schedule for short listed candidate and call them
for interview with approval of top management. After conducting interview HRD prepare interview
feedback for selected candidate and send to interview’s panel members & wait for receive further
instruction from them. After that HRD prepare recruitment approval of candidate after receiving
instructions/comments and send to Department Head & Managing Director for their approval.

Notable incidents:

Last week HR executive call some candidates of mid-level position for interview one of them asked
“how much salary I will get? Will I get personal Car?” HR executive handle that situation by replying
him “it’s a new position, so there is no car facility. But you can negotiate about your demand during
interview.

Observations/ reflections:

From the beginning my observation some of the candidates became very much exited regarding
their job description. That’s why they are asking so much stranging question about that. So it is
very much important work to handle the candidates. From this senario my reflaction is that to
handle the interview candidates you need to be very carefull all time because if you give any kind
of wrong information it will harm you in the future.
