Junior high was the best part in our High school life journey. The four years of fun,
excitement, friendships and more are all in junior high. But being a grade ten was a tough
year of junior high. “What are the strands you like to take?” “Have you decided yet?” Being
bombard by this questions are really disturbing. In grade ten you will feel the pressure,
pressure of what kind of courses you will take. What strands are suited for your skills. And
what kind of strands that will be beneficial to you?
21st century is the year where businesses are at its peak. Becoming a businessman,
businesswoman, entrepreneur, etc are the best choices to make your career successful. Do
you want to be like Henry Sy who owns the one of the most leading malls in the Philippines
which is the SM? Bill Gates, who is known as one of the most well-known American
Technology entrepreneur and being the second-richest person in the world? You can be like
them if you have perseverance, confidence, being creative and of course studying business
courses. But what is the needed strand in senior high that you need to pursue?
Accountancy, Business and Management are one of the strands in senior high that
produces young businessman/woman, accountants, entrepreneur, and other business related.
Senior high school takes two years to learn the basic principles or subjects in a certain
strands. ABM strands are focusing mainly in basic accounting, Principles of Marketing,
Organizations and management, Business Math, Business Finance, etc. ABM Strands are
responsible on producing individual to be like Henry Sy and other successful person that
dominates the world with their net worth.
Choosing ABM is a good Decision. ABM Strands will help you to have a better
future. If you want to manage a hotel, restaurants, etc then choose ABM. If you want to work
in a bank, in a company then CHOOSE ABM. This strand will boost your confidence to enter
in the business world, develops your skills and capabilities that can be used in your future
jobs. And choosing this strand will help you to manage your time since you are taught on
how to manage a business, a long patience, focus, leaderships, and maintaining camaraderie
between people.
ABM will also teach you how to manage finances, payments, and how to budget, and
how to limit financial problems. As an ABM student you will learn how to make decisions,
take risk, and learn the basics on how to gain profit at a young age and will also boost your
earning potential. Pursuing ABM, there are a lot of opportunities that waits. If you want to
enter the business world then choose ABM. ABM is the door and you will serve as a key to
open that door to the business world.
