• Your job as a business development manager is to identify sales leads, pitch goods or services
to new clients, and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.

• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
• Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
• Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
• Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
• Research and identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas,
customers, partnerships, products, and services or new ways of reaching existing markets
• Generate leads and cold call prospective customers.
• Foster and develop relationships with customers/clients.
• Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of
how to meet these.
• Think strategically and seeing the bigger picture and setting aims and objectives to develop
and improve the business.
• Work strategically and carrying out necessary planning to implement operational changes
• Draw up client contracts and adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
• Understanding the business's services and be able to advise others about them.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization and understand the need for change
and what is required of them.
• Discuss promotional strategy and activities with the marketing department.
• Liaise with the finance team and logistics departments as appropriate.
• Create a sales pipeline.
• Negotiate pricing with customers.
• Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to top Management.
• Develop the sales & business development strategy.
• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
• Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Examines risks and potentials for business opportunities.
• Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
• Enhances the organization’s reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and
different requests.
• Develop new sales areas and improving sales through various methods.
• Train and develop entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
• Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Knowledge:
• Master’s degree or a BA in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
• Certified with PMP.
Experience:
• 3 -5 years of sales experience in the same field.
