INTRODUCTION
Plastics are a wide scope of manufactured or semi
engineered natural aggravates that are pliable
thus can be formed into strong article. This
assignment will elaborate more on the two main
type of plastics, properties, uses, marketing and
storage.
TWO MAIN TYPES OF PLASTICS
THERMOSETTING PLASTICS
Thermosetting plastics are plastics that we can
change their form/shape. They are highly
recyclable and have high impact resistance.

THERMOPLASTICS
Thermoplastics are plastics that plastics that we
cannot reshape or change its form, they are highly
recyclable and have impact resistance.
PROPERTIES OF PLASTICS
Plastics are generally low cost, strong for weight,
electrically and thermally insulate and resistant to
shock, corrosion, chemicals and water. Plastics are
often used in appliances auto interior panels, side
shields, bottles CD and cassette boxes.
USSES OF PLASTICS
Plastics have many uses and some of the uses of
plastics can be storage of goods after buying them
from super market, plastic gutters in a house or
construction site, pvc pipes, plastic window
frames, chairs, tables, wall switches, plastic roof
timbers, bottles and other simple materials.
CONCLUSSION
Plastics are also very useful in our construction
industry in several different ways and uses
especially in gutters, down pipes from the gutters
to the drain, pipes for water transportation to the
entire house or building. But we must also be
careful of thermoplastics as they are the major
contribution to the pollution to our towns and
major cities and especially the marine ecosystem.
