After doing multiple- choice, I find that I am high on self- confidence with my score is 8. When I decide to do
something, I think I can do them quite well. However, I also find that when I consider goals as important things
which is difficult for me to carry them out well. They just reach degree of okay. Therefore, the more complex
things, the more I feel a little bit to be afraid of them. Anyway, I feel that my works are go right and they almost
did not happen any problem. Thus, until now, I still feel confident to solve them.

After doing this survey, I evaluate myselft that control pretty well. I have the ability to be responsible for
work as well as for what happens to me to avoid distraction . I almost complete my work follow my plan.
However, competiton element help me to perform the ability become better. Although competiton is necessary
to promote potential skills and abilities, but I do not conside it as an important part because it will affect my
emotion and lucidity during doing work. Through that, I feel myself as a pretty mind person and control my
behavior.

File 11: Activities for Developing Self-Awareness

One time I was pouring water, accidentally a cracked jar caused some water to pour onto the floor.
Incidentally, my mother saw and scolded me for a long time even though an unexpected careless behavior
happened. That made me unable to hold back and quarreled with my mother for that absurdity, resulting for
me being scolded longer after that and being consider as disrespectful behavior.

If there was next time, I would act more intelligent by patiently listening to what my mother had said and
staying calm, so I would not argue back. I will also keep silent and breathe throughout the process to avoid my
mother's anger and to become more calmly. Another solution I can do is to give her a glass of water while she is
scolding to reduce the time she gets scolded and touches her.

Present some strategies to motivate yourself:

After watching animated shrt film named “Soar”, I feel it is same as its name. The movie says about a girl who
is constantly trying to make an airplane model fly in sky as other airplane models. After many times to failure,
she finally succeeded in making her airplane fly higher. The star picture is lit up in the sky, which reminds me
that each person is their own star and do not need to compare to anyone. Thus, to make your star shining, you
should try hard as this girl to achieve your dream and goals. You will be returned worthily in many ways. This is a
fact that nothing is success overnight. Moreover, in the life, you also have the right to be sad or upset, but never
give up.

Watching this film, it helps me find some strategies to motivate yourself. I will set up different ways to
complete my goal, then carry out one by one to avoid procrastination when just have a solution. Next, tell my
friends or my mother what I will do, then ask one or more of them to regularly check up on my progress to
reduce to give up. Besides, I also get motivation from other people in life because looking at someone’s success
can make enthusiastic energy flow over to you. Especially, playing music gives me energy and optimist to
complete work better.
