Business name and logo is very important in putting up a business. It is one of the
important elements of any business. It will show the message, qualities and thoughts of the
business to the people. The proposed business name is Bottle Brothers which was derived
from the nature of the business which is a glass bottle distributor and how Paolo Oliver
Castillo considers his cousin “Kuya Paul” who helps him as his very own brother.
Office and Plant Location is decided wisely after several considerations that will
affect the business. The location can have an effect on the business. The business must be
established in a place where it can operate properly without harming its surroundings.
The Location of the business is Barangay Sipat, Plaridel, Bulacan is elevated so it is very

In the Philippines, junk shops are virtually in every corner. In a world where every
container is made from glass bottles, junkshop is economical and logical choice of business. It
may be messy and stinky but it will certainly pay the bills when managed properly. Junk shops
are very simple as a buy and sell business. They buy junk from households, segregates and
classify the junks and sell them to resellers like glass bottle distributor.
This is where it gets exciting; glass bottle distributor business can be called as buy and
sell business. They buy empty bottles from junk shops, clean it, and sell those empty glass
bottles that can be used by small business enterprises such as independent vinegar and fish sauce
makers and re-sellers.
By means of this type of business, many small and medium enterprises (SME) are being
helped by these glass bottle distributors. Many independent producers are getting their glass
bottles from glass bottle distributors. By this, they can harness their raw materials easily and at

According in our interview there are six SMEs in Paombong, Bulacan. This means that

expands their market, the glass bottle distributor business can also expand. This can be a fruitful
relationship. This relationship has various potentials that will be explored in this study.

prone to damage and inconsistency because the manual process relies heavily on manpower.
Competitors also has higher selling price compared to Bottle Brothers. Competitors uses the
traditional packaging which is sacks. This is prone to viruses and diseases that can harm the end
user.
Demographic Environment
It is significant to know the complete population of Paombong since this is the foremost target
market in the study. The demand for the proposed product would be determined on the number
of junkshops in Baliuag, Bulacan as the suppliers and the number of SME’s in Paombong,
Bulacan as the target market. The municipality of Paombong and its Small Medium Enterprises
that produces vinegar, fish Sauce are the target markets because of their broad population which
provide large number of potential consumers. And It is also the center of business activities of
different product industries that may influence the consumers purchasing decision.
Economic Environment
Economy’s performance served as the basis of the nation stability of its fall. The existence of the
business would be primarily affected by the capacity of how the firm would price the product.
The business aimed to be successful and excellent in this kind of endeavor thus it must be
sensitive enough in economic conditions adjustments and to know what to do on current
circumstances without losing the quality of the product.
The proponents had to consider the economic stability in putting up a business. The present
situation made it for the entrepreneurs to venture into an enterprise adaptable to the situation.
Small Medium Enterprise produces goods from the factors of production provided by society,
thus, Small Medium Enterprises contribute to the country’s economic growth. Therefore, the

The major raw material needed in the production is affected by the external force of environment
which is all the natural resources were involved. There would be a difficulty in producing the
proposed product that the proponents might be encountered because the raw material is seasonal.
Natural phenomenon is very unpredictable, when this natural calamities visits the production
area, the production activities of the business would be affected.
Political Environment
The political environment includes legislations, government controls, politics and growth of
public interest groups. One important factor to consider in this environment before considering
the impacts is the political system in the business area. The proponents should have knowledge
in the changes and development of the government rules and policies in putting up the business.
In establishing a business the proponents must comply with all the needed legal requirements
provide by the local municipality such as mayor’s permit and business permit other government
agencies like the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Bureau of Internal
Revenue (BIR).
In the application of business permit, the proponents must secure Barangay Clearance,
duly- filled up forms and notarized form from business permit and Licensing office, assessment
for building fee from Engineering Department, Mechanical and Electrical permit from Electrical
Department, payment of fees to Treasury Department, Health, BFAD and Sanitary permit from
Health and Sanitary Office, Fire Safety Inspection Certificate from Bureau of Fire Protection and

would follow. The political environment affects business organizations and has risk factor that
causes business after loss. Political environment may change of some actions and policies of the
local governments, as the result of these it may cause impact on business strategy and operation,
corruption remains barrier to economic development. The political condition now here in the
country would possibly affect all the business, because of the doubtful issues appears in the
government, many investors might be afraid to invest in the business in this country. The
political environment in Plaridel, Bulacan is in democratic state because of the stability of the
business environment due to laws. It is capitalist system which encourages private ownership of

MISSION
1. Product
Providing a quality product is very essential to the success of the business through the
patronage of its customers. In a glass bottle distributor, a quality glass bottle is very
important in building a good name in the market. The business must ensure that it passes
quality standards from the acquisition of the raw materials from junkshops until the last
process. The owners must ensure that they get bottles in good condition, without any
damage and hazardous elements. The materials needed for bottle cleaning must also be
monitored in order to avoid possible errors as it undergoes the cleaning process. After the
cleaning process the bottles must undergo quality control inspection in order to maintain
quality until the packaging of the clean bottles ready for delivery.

The Bottle Bros Glass Bottle Distributor business is a sole proprietorship that will be
owned by Mr. Paolo Oliver P. Castillo. The business will also need a 1 supervisor, 1
Secretary, 2 drivers, 4 porters and 4 machine operators, 2 security guards

The truck leaves the plant at 8:00 in the morning to go to the first supplier
The porters will count and check the bottles for major and minor defects. They will load the bottles onto
the truck after checking and counting.
After the bottles have been loaded onto the truck, the truck will now travel from Supplier 1 to Supplier 2.

The supervisor and the porters will inspect the bottles for major and minor defects.
The machine operators will line up the bottles onto the machines. The first stage is the washing, the
machine will use detergent soap for cleansing and liquid sosa for disinfection. The second stage is the
drying, which the machine will use its air dryer.
The porters will Label the bottles with clear sticker with the logo and then wrap the bottles with bubble
wrap and then encase it with carton, which will then be put on top of plastic pallets.
The machine operators and porters will now put the packaged bottles into the stockroom for it to be ready
for the following day’s delivery.
Delivery
Porters will extract the packaged bottles from the stockroom. Then they will carefully load the packaged
bottles onto the delivery truck.
After loading the bottles onto the truck will now leave and go to SME #1.

The business’ overall marketing strategy will be based on what the industry dictates. It will
be direct selling, with the porters serving as the sales agents, as they are the ones who
knows who and where the junkshops that are suppliers of the business. The proponents
have researched the target market which pose a promising demand for the clean bottles.
Pricing
Declaring reasonable and affordable prices are very important in selling the product
to the market. The proposed business will sell clean bottles at P 5.00 per bottle. This
pricing strategy is effective for the business as it competes with other competitors in the
area. The price is also reasonable for the business to ensure profitability and avoiding loss
to its profit.
A memorandum of agreement would be in place for the security of both junkshop and
Bottle Brothers, and also with the SMEs and Bottle Brothers. The MOA will assure the
business that it will have sufficient bottles to clean and supply to the SMEs. The MOA
between the SMEs and Bottle Brothers will ensure the SMEs that they will receive agreed
number of bottles monthly. It will be agreed upon that the bottles that will be delivered to
the SMEs will be their responsibility upon delivery as the Bottle Brothers ensures the
bottles’ safety and delivery procedures.

proposed business is willing to pay P1.5 and is entitled to get a loyalty card. In every
1,000pcs of glass bottle a loyalty card holder will have 1pt. which is equivalent to one
bottle that the supply can accumulate and redeem any time.
With this kind of promotion, the proposed business will have loyal suppliers who
are willing to give priority in supplying dirty glass bottles.
Providing promos will also attract the previous and the new suppliers to continue
their patronage on the business and will invite more suppliers to try to sell bottles for the
business.

Grand Opening
Grand opening is the promotional activities during the first day of opening.
This will include the first blessing of the physical site itself followed by the parades and
the first collection of bottles from the suppliers and then the first production of clean
bottles and the first delivery of the product to its designated SME in Paombong, Bulacan.
Parade
First parade will start at the production cite and will make their way to Baliuag,
Bulacan, after the short parade it will start its first pick up of raw materials (dirty glass
bottle) and then back to the production cite.
After the first production of clean glass bottles, another parade together with the
first batch of clean glass bottles it will start its way to Paombong, Bulacan where the
SME’s are located.
During the parades, brochures will be distributed to the people watching the parade.
This will encourage more SME’s to increase their production as the glass bottle
distributor provides raw materials for their industry.
Both parades will be held during the first week of the grand opening. All employees
are required to participate and help in organizing the parade. The business is going to give
free food allowance in addition to their basic salary.

preparation for future expansion.

what they take the time to read and view. Video promotions will bring a clearer
understanding of the benefits of a product. Consumers also find it more convenient to
watch a video while trying to accomplish other tasks. Providing this convenience to the
consumer has proven to be a highly effective marketing technique.
Videos that welcome a consumer to the Facebook page give an immediate association to
the product. Naturally, movement catches a person's eye and compels the viewer to pay
