GIRL SCOUTS NARRATIVE REPORT

S.Y. 2018-2019

INTRODUCTION

Scouting is one of the laudable activities as customarily observe ,


implemented yearly in all year level . It aims to enhance the talents , skills ,
develop value formation significantly to help boys and girls to be fully
upright citizens in the society . Furthermore, scouting provides a program of
activities for young boys and girls which are fun , challenging and at
the same time will help develop into a well – rounded individuals and useful
persons in the challenging world.

A. 6th Council – Wide Simultaeous Institutional Camp:

The Culianan National High School Girl Scouts with the Boy Scouts of the
Philippines conducted the 6th Council – wide Simultaneous Institutional Camp last
August 31- September 1, 2018. This camp is considered a pre – requisite for
participation in the 2018 Council Jamboree. The participants of this camp are
participated by registered members of Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

In this camp activities was participated with 109 students of different grade
level. The camp was held at Culianan National High School campus. The camp aims
to develop the skills, talents, leadership of the scouters and to inculcate the core
values of Maka- Dios, Maka-Tao and Maka-kalikasan. The said activity was great
and remarkable to the campers,that made them grow independently for their future
in life. Their mission are wanted to join an enthusiasm for learning to a
personalized community of the scout leaders and those taught. The planning
concept that this camp would not be imposed by the leadership but would arise
from the students’ independent activity supported by the school and Girlscout of
the Philippines. It also foster a greater school spirit, and work toward a grasp of the
image of a true Senior Scouts.
The activities during the camp are the following; Knot - Tying, disaster
preferred activities, such as Fire Drill, Earthquake Drill, Splicing, Hitches, First Aid
and Bandaging and Signaling. And games to create a good rapport with the group
and learn how to boost their confidence and the same time develop their
sportsmanship.
The participants also learn how to prepare their own food, and learn how to
maintain cleanliness around their camp site, they also learn how to save lives,
security and safety measure

B. 28th Council Wide Camp:

The Culianan National High School Girl Scouts joined the 28 th Council Wide
Camp last November 14 - 18, 2018 with the theme “GIRL SCOUTS: Inspire
through Active involvement and Commitment”. The participants of this camp
are participated by registered members of Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

In this camp activities was participated with 13 students of different


grade level. The camp was held at Mercedes Elementary campus. The camp
aims to develop the skills, talents, leadership of the scouters and to inculcate
the core values of Maka- Dios, Maka-Tao and Maka-kalikasan. The said
activity was great and remarkable to the campers,that made them grow
independently for their future in life. Their mission are wanted to join an
enthusiasm for learning to a personalized community of the scout leaders and
those taught. The planning concept that this camp would not be imposed by
the leadership but would arise from the students’ independent activity
supported by the school and Girlscout of the Philippines. It also foster a

Scouts.

Hike. And games to create a good rapport with the group and learn how to
