SCHOOLS DIVISION OF TARLAC PROVINCE
CAPAS EAST DISTRICT
CALANGITAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Sitio Kalangitan, Cut-cut II, Capas Tarlac
Comments It was indeed a new learning experience for all the scouts of
Calangitan Elementary School. Generally the activity was done
smoothly and peacefully. It was considered a successful two-
day event. Participants are looking forward and anticipate for
a bigger opportunity to join the provincial jamborette
Suggestions Planning and organizing an activity are important factors in
making an event a successful one. Time plays a vital role and
setting a timeline will guide the implementers to achieve their
objectives and goals. Considering the level of scouts in terms of
their ages and differences. Troop Leaders and facilitators
should consider some activities that will suit the needs of the
learners specifically scouts from the lower grades department
these are the TWINKLERS, KID SCOUTS, STAR SCOUTS and
KAB SCOUTS. They should be given activities that they will be
motivated well to participate by engaging themselves with
their parents and guardians right after the investiture proper.
During the backyard encampment, scouts should be properly
oriented on how the campfire is to be done after the rituals,
and they should also be taught some round songs while the
campfire is on going to make this activity more lively.

RECOMMENDATION
Practicing and mastering scouting skills should always be
observed not only inside the school campus but also in the
community where every scout belongs simply because these
skills creates a distinct code of conduct that re-orders the
priorities of everyday world. The scouting community should
also maintain its goal and objective in holistic approach.

global advocacy day is celebrated every 15th
of October and is dedicated to
increasing awareness and understanding
on the
importance of handwashing with soap as an
effective and affordable way to prevent
diseases and save lives.
In line with the said celebration, a one-day
symposium titled Malinis na Kamay
para sa Kinabukasan ng Bayan was conducted
last October 15, 2021, Friday, at 1:00-
3:30 pm via DepEd Philippines Facebook

This activity aimed to motivate key
stakeholders to promote a culture of hand
hygiene by featuring best practices on
encouraging handwashing behavior across
different settings. To adapt to current learning
modalities, the event featured selected
videos submitted by the regions. These
highlighted various initiatives in the
implementation of WinS Program at the
school level. Furthermore, this event launched
the WASH O'clock campaign as a platform
for public awareness, advocacy, and social
mobilization in selected areas.
