CHLOE Role it is through this CHLOE Role that we can encourage youth to have their own
interests and activities where they can make positive changes. So this CHLOE Role is promoted
through activities and experiences that help young men and women develop social, ethical,
emotional, physical and cognitive competencies. CHLOE Role means Awareness as a
Response Cultivate Happiness in Literature: Open a book and Explore! to the need of the
learners. It is called CHLOE Role because the school organizations and school clubs mediates
interactions between less connected and therefore keep the network together and to have
christian formation and reading tutorial with environmental, heroes, and other topics. This falls
under the DepEd four core values – maka-diyos, maka-tao, maka-bansa and maka-kalikasan.
The program works holistically among boys and girls, and men and women because it caters on
the mental, emotional, economical, and physical well-being of an individual.
The activities for this training are based on the mandated national program of supreme
student government. The activities help young people gain self-confidence and self-esteem. It
builds strong relationships with organizations that share the aims, thereby further increasing the
capacity of young people to build on their skills and aptitudes for their own personal growth and
their community’s long term success and development. This is also in relation to the UN
sustainable development goals –SDG4 Ensuing inclusive and equitable quality education and
promote lifelong learning opportunities for all , SDG 16,Promote peaceful and inclusive societies
for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and
inclusive institutions at all levels.
