ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT


ACTIVITY TITLE NAVAL NHS 8TH INSTITUTIONAL SCOUTING CAMPOREE

REFERENCE The conduct of this activity is pursuant to Division Memorandum # ___


series of 2023 dated ____________________ issued by the Schools
Division Superintendent which directs the aforementioned implementing
groups to conduct the BSP School Camporee to be conducted inside the
premises of the school. All Secondary and Elementary Schools shall
organize, plan and prepare all the necessary documents and materials
prior to the success of the conduct of the said camporee. The School
BSP Coordinator is the focal person for the conduct of such event.

DATE MARCH 31 – APRIL 02, 2023

VENUE NAVAL NHS GROUNDS

PARTICIPANTS The activity was conducted by the BSP JHS & SHS BSP Coordinator,
DESCRIPTION Circle Managers, Activity Officers/Wood Badgers and participated by
the registered senior and rover scouts.

DESCRIPTION Scouting is a movement of young people and duly supported by


adults. Moreover, it offers an experiential and learner-centered approach
and opportunity to all participants to experience a high caliber series of
activities based on the definition, purpose and principles of scout
method.

The participants will develop physically, intellectually,


emotionally, socially and spiritually through a lifelong experience in an
environment supported by adults. The movement also employs the Scout
Method, a program of informal education with an emphasis on practical
outdoor activities, including camping, woodcraft, aquatics, hiking,
backpacking, and sports.
It is one of the missions of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines to
serve others by helping to instill values in young people and in other
ways, to prepare them to make ethical choices during lifetime in
achieving their full potential. As the BSP School Coordinator of this
institution together with all the interested scouters is planning to conduct
a Two-Day Scouting Activity for them to be equipped with knowledge
relevant to their duties and responsibilities as scouts and scouters.

The said activity will surely enhance them to become a productive


scouts and strategic leaders by capacitating them with basic knowledge,
skills and attitude of a scout thus, making them more effective, efficient,
innovative and productive citizen.

OBJECTIVES  To integrate scouting in every scout in the school


 To promote knowledge and skills through advancement program
 To help build camaraderie between the young scouts during the
event
 To hone their physical, mental, social, emotional and spiritual
facets
 To play a productive role in the school and community
 To become responsible scouts and members of the Boys Scouts
of the Philippines and community.
 To serve others by helping to instill values in young people
 To make ethical choices during lifetime in achieving their full
potential

HIGHLIGHTS The 8th Institutional Scouting Camporee started at 6:00 p.m with an
opening program attended by BSP Field Executive, PSDS of Naval
District 3, school administrators headed by the school principal, circle
managers, coordinators, facilitators, senior and rover scouts. Followed
by the Parade of Lights from school campus to Sitio San Roques, Brgy.
Larrazabal, Naval, Biliran.

1. Promoted character development, take part in attractive and fun
activities and play a constructive role in the society as a responsible and
productive citizen.

2. Geared towards knowing themselves and their immediate


environment.
3.Equipped them with the knowledge, skills, values and attitudes to
become a better scout.

1. Methodology

The activity was designed through a face-to-face three-day activity by


observing safety protocols and procedures.

2. Management of the Activity

The activity was conducted by the BSP JHS & SHS BSP Coordinator,
Circle Managers, Activity Officers/Wood Badgers, senior and rover
scouts and supervised by the school heads.

3. Monitoring

The conduct of the activity was monitored and evaluated by the BSP
School Coordinators, Advisers, Circle Managers, Activity Officers and
Field Executive to ensure its realization and success.
