AND BUSINESS INNOVATION :

INNOVATIVE SUPPLY

Replenishment Model
This model ensures that shelves are always stocked with the garments according to the taste
of the customers. With TAL's continuous replenishment model, fabrics and accessories are
procured based on demand forecasts provided by the customer. Appropriate levels of JIT
material enables it to streamline the production process and continuously deliver the right
products at the right time to avoid the lost revenue due to lack of product availability.

X-Docking system
This system removes the costly warehousing of inventory and also shortens lead-times from
order to store. All products are packed to store and bar-coded at TAL factories. After
reaching the customer’s distribution centres, stocks are scanned and routed straight to the
appropriate dispatch truck for immediate shipment to store.
Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR)
 An automated system sends signals to TAL and customers when there are deviations
from the replenishment model.
 TAL and customers then come together to reach a consensus of the “correct
replenishment quantity”.
 Working in close partnerships with their customers and combining their industry
expertise, they are able to help their customers to realize the full benefits of an
effectively managed supply chain.

VMI
 In a VMI setting, inventory on the customer’s side, either at the warehouse or in the
store, is monitored directly by TAL. Stock is then replenished to achieve inventory
turn and service level that is most appropriate for the business nature of the customer.
 With our advanced Store VMI service, direct POS links with our customer’s stores
combined with TAL’s sophisticated pack and ship-to-store systems, mean that we can
deliver our products direct to each store before our customers even know they need
them, and offer costs savings of up to 15% through reduced inventory and operational
costs.

Speed to Market
Using advanced POS data mining expertise, customers can reduce the cost and risks of new
launched products.

Technologies:
Wrinkle free SofTAL technology
Use of this technology : Machine washable and dryable and no need to iron.

WOR – nano technology

This technology is used to produce exceptional stain resistant performance.
TAL Pucker Free Seam Technology
This technology uses adhesives along the seams to prevent pockets, cuffs, arm- holes and
plackets from puckering.

EZCOOL
EZCOOL treatment is used to draw away the moisture from the body to keep you cool and
comfortable.

Expandable Waistband
TAL’s patented expandable waistband technology gives the right amount of natural elasticity
to provide better breathing and comfort throughout the day. The natural elasticity lasts for the
lifetime of the garment.

De-odorant Technology
An anti-microbial finish acts as a shield against bacteria and mould growth on thus
preventing unpleasant odours.

DriXpert
DriXpert treatment provides excellent moisture management to keep one cool and dry. Using
a one-way transportation process, moisture on the skin is drawn away through the garment
onto the outer surface of the fabric from where it evaporates quickly.

Emboss
A process that is used to make a permanent pattern or logo on 100% cotton garments. This
treatment is a softer and subtler alternative to embroidery and printing.

WORKING OF THE SUPPLY CHAIN MODEL :

Data Driven

Replenishment models are triggered by actual sales and inventory data. All models begin
with reviewing the data. The status of inventory and sales is visible throughout the supply
chain.

Replenishment decisions are triggered by real-time demand, eliminating the bullwhip effect.
Performance (KPI) Driven

All models have the same goal of meeting customers' key performance indicators.
Replenishment policies are initiated according to the service level requirements and inventory
turnaround then develop and implement action plans and create scorecard reports to review
and control the performance

Advanced Support Systems

IT infrastructure provides a transparent and efficient way to communicate across the supply
chain.

Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) capability facilitates real-time, error-free data sharing.

TAL’s centralized database and business intelligence tools enable scalable data handling.
Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems connect different portals to streamline planning
and ordering processes.
