We are not on the same boat, a poem that serves as an eye opener that everyone has their own
struggles and battles towards this year’s pandemic. This pandemic brought too much problems
not just to us Filipinos but also in other countries around the globe, we face different problems,
we experience different struggles. The boat in the poem stands as our individual life, some of has
have the privileged while other does not, and the storms depicts as the problem we are facing
each day, but the most important is no matter struggle and problems we face, we should be
thankful for what we have and we should find ways to survive this storm and look on a brighter
tomorrow that is waiting for us.
Meeting:
The pandemic made us stronger and it enhances our capabilities in terms of survival. It comes to
a point that my mom and I experienced problems financially but we did not just focused on the
problem, we focused on how we can survive this year. I started selling airpods just to have
enough money to support this ongoing “new normal” classes and my mom did a lot of extra
work for our everyday needs. This pandemic made our bond stronger and now we are looking
forward for the end of this virus.
