Lohagora Branch, Chittagong through M/s. Bhai Bhai Refrigeration .

ADC & Card Division, Head office, Dhaka has informed through their requisition ref no. Nil dated 22.05.2017 air conditioner of
Lohagora Branch ATM Booth, Chittagong was not functioning properly. Accordingly they have taken initiative & examined the air
conditioner through several service providers, collected quotations from them.

Considering the urgency of the situation ADC & Card Division has taken initiative & completed the job through the lowest bidder
M/s. Bhai Bhai Refrigeration. Head of ADC & Card Division has also confirmed so through their certificate ref no.
JBL/HO/CARD/2017/2207 dated June 04, ,2017. Branch has also confirmed so through their certificate ref no.
JBL/LOHA/ADMIN/2017/853 dated May 28, 2017.

However, upon negotiation from G&CSD the lowest bidder M/s. Bhai Bhai Refrigeration. has agreed to trim down & settle
the offer at negotiated an amount of Tk. 28,500.00only. Comparison of the quotations is as follows:

Subject: Approval of procurement & installation of 01 (One) unit “GENERAL” brand split type air
conditioner having cooling capacity of 1.5 Ton for Narayangonj Link Road ATM Booth attached
with Narayangonj Link Road Branch, Narayangonj at a negotiated amount of Tk. 31,500.00 only
through Maa Refrigeration & Engineering Works
ADC & Card Division, Head Office, Dhaka has informed us vide their Letter No.: JBL/HO/CARD/2017/995 dated March 22, 2017 that
the current air conditioning system of Narayangonj Link Road ATM Booth is not functioning properly for last few days. Meanwhile
they have tried several times & incurred repeated expenditure to remove the problem but could not succeed.
In this regard, ADC & Card Division has requested vide Letter No.: JBL/HO/CARD/2017/995 dated March 22, 2017 to arrange
procurement & installation of air conditioner having cooling capacity of 1.5 Ton at the above mentioned ATM Booth premise on
urgent basis.
As it is a matter of ATM Booth where the air conditioner will be 24X7 operational, we may consider reputed brand air conditioner
such as “GENERAL” brand.
Considering the above, we have collected quotations from different suppliers of “GENERAL” brand air conditioners & presented it to
the negotiation committee, details of the negotiation meeting is as under:

After comparison of the quoted prices Negotiation Committee has negotiated with them and Maa Refrigeration & Engineering
Works has agreed to settle down their offer at Tk. 79,500.00 only per 1.0 ton AC and Tk. 91,800.00 only per 1.5 ton AC and highest
warranty criteria of 03 (Three) years on compressor, spare parts and service and additional copper pipe (after 20 Rft/AC) Tk.
260.00/Rft for supply and installation of “GENERAL” brand split type air conditioner at our ATM Booth premises. It is mentionable
that, the price is inclusive of installation charge. Hence, Maa Refrigeration & Engineering Works has become the lowest bidder.
