EDUCATION HISTORY
• Graduated from North Mackay State High School in 2015 with OP 9 and the Subject Award for Product Design.
• Studied a Bach. of Mechanical Engineering during the year of 2015.
• Currently studying a Bach. of Industrial Design, Majoring in Interactive and Visual Design with a current GPA of 5.393.

SKILLS
DESIGN THINKING
Comfortable and regularly using multiple design thinking methods, most commonly the Double Diamond Method and IDEO’s
Design Thinking Method.

CAD & CAM

Experienced in numerous CAD programs, including but not limited to; SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit. Also
experienced in multiple CAM programs, including SIGMANEXT, Simplify3D, CorelDraw.

MODEL MAKING & PROTOTYPING

Confident using rapid prototyping to compare concepts in short time frames. Able to produce high quality models for
presentations using various methods and finishes, using 3D printing, laser cutting and hand tools. Experienced using
Arduino to bring technology based projects to life.

MANUFACTURING
Experienced using industry grade laser cutting systems and general metal and woodworking techniques. Have produced
multiple short run products for clients.

GRAPHICS
Confident using majority of the Adobe Suite, particulary Illustrator, Photoshop, Premier Pro and Audition.

ORGANISATION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Able to work in teams and individually, self-managing and able to meet set deadlines consistantly. Some experience
leading groups and resolving internal conflicts among team members.
EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
CURRENT
Employed part-time at Kmart Australia Stafford, working in a team environment, and taking on tasks both in led and leading
positions.

Also self-employed producing 1-off and short run prototypes and products for clients, using personal 3D printers and
laser cutter.

PREVIOUS
Employed for 3 years in a multifaceted position at Expert LASER Solutions, which involved taking clients ideas through to
production. This involved communication and meetings with clients, designing using CAD, and producing prototypes and final
products with a 5kW laser cutter, press brakes and a multitude of fabrication and finishing methods.

Also previously employed doing construction labouring during university breaks in Mackay, QLD.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Shortlisted finalist for an QUT Industrial Design challenge (2019).
• Part of the team of 3 that won the Better Brissy BBQ challenge for Brisbane City Council (2019).
• Have worked with companies and organisations such as Techtronic Industries, Bombardier, Brisbane City Council and QUT.
• Nominated for the Reach Higher QLD state award for Kmart Australia (Winner still TBA).
