• Define the firm and the principal architect. Provide details.

Ford Nebres + Architects is an architecture firm established in 2019 by its founder
and principal architect, Ar. Clifford Jae O. Nebres, UAP, RMP in Antipolo City. He
graduated BS Architecture in Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City
in the year 2017. He then took the licensure board exam to become a registered
master plumber in 2018, a year after he graduated. After claiming the title of RMP, he
took the Architecture Licensure Examination in 2019 in order to be an official licensed
Architect [1]. Next, is the Padua Architectural Design Studio (PADS). PADS is a
multidisciplinary design studio in the field of architecture, interiors, and construction
based in Manila, and was established in the year 2019 by Ar. Rick Jason Padua, the
principal architect [2]. Ar. Padua graduated in Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila in
2013 and took the Architecture Licensure Exam before establishing his own design
studio [3]. He also took the field of academe in order to share his knowledge and
experience at the Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City. Lastly, the
Tier One Architects is another architecture firm based in Quezon City which was
established by Ar. Cenon Cesar Lumor in 2018. Ar. Lumor graduated BS Architecture
in the National University and rewarded as the first in the list of Top 10 Best Thesis.
After graduating, he spent his apprenticeship at Archion Architects. He then took and
passed the Architecture Licensure Exam as soon as he completed his apprenticeship
hours [4].

• Compare the practice of each firm, their specialty, their style in management, etc.
Ford Nebres + Architects specializes on residential, commercial, and interior
design field. In fact, this firm was regarded as the leading residential architecture firm
– providing unique architectural and engineering solutions to each project. Ford
Nebres + Architects has a vision of creating treasured moments and beautiful
memories in the form of architecture [1]. The Padua Architectural Design Studio
(PADS), on the other hand, is a studio offering architecture, interior, and construction
services and is in a continuous practice of creating relationship between the user,
space, and the nature. Its vision is mainly to elevate architecture through curiosity-
based and sustainable designs. PADS’ mission is guided by ethos of sustainable
 craftsmanship, professionalism, dedication, and customer service – creating design
solutions with the aid of the allied professionals in order to bring their clients’ vision to
life [2]. Lastly, the Tier One Architects offers services related to architecture,
engineering, and project management – having wide spectrum of knowledge and
experience in designing and handling residential, commercial, interior, and master
plan projects is an advantage regardless of the employees’ young ages. This firm
mainly focuses on clients’ satisfaction – serving them hassle free experience with
world class results [3].

• Reflect from their practice.

Each of the stated firms and design studios have missions and visions – not only
to attract clients but also to have a written plan set out for themselves to achieve in
the following years of running the firm and practicing their professions. It is evident
that all firms have something to offer to the clients as well as to the architecture and
construction field. Having this in mind, they mainly established their firms not to satisfy
their personal wants in designing a structure but to put their clients’ vision to life – give
them freedom to choose and decide what they want to see in their houses, buildings,
etc. Establishing an architectural firm requires a clear goal for the professionals to
achieve. It requires a careful consideration on what aspect of professional practice
should be brought into the business field that will contribute to the future of
architectural firms.
