PROCEDURE:
We basically need to prepare all the tools to be used in cooking and preparing our breakfast first before
performing it. After the preparation, we can now start cooking.

In cooking rice, first, we need to put the 3 cups of rice, and rinse it 3 times. Next is we need to put water
and use the 1:1 water to rice ratio that can be seen inside of the rice cooker pot. Press the “on” button and the
cooker will handle the cooking time. After 20 mins., let it rest, covered for about 5 more mins for fluffy results.
In cooking the hotdogs and the eggs, first, we need to heat the pan before putting the oil. Fry hotdogs in
batches in the preheated oil until it is crispy and browned 2-5 mins. Place the kitchen tissue in a plate. Drain on a
kitchen tissue. Next is cooking of eggs. Crack the eggs in a bowl then put a pinch of salt and pepper. Use the fork
to whisk the eggs. In a pan over medium heat, heat the oil until just beginning to smoke. Pour the whisked eggs in
the center of the pan. Flip to cook the other side. Then, place the kitchen tissue in a plate. Drain on a kitchen
tissue.
In preparing the table, put the placemat, then the plate. Place the fork on the left side of the plate and the
spoon on the right side. Place the glass on top of the plate. Now, get some cooked rice in a separate plate. Also,
get the plates of cooked hotdogs and eggs and set in the table. Get a pitcher of water.

3. Since we were instructed to look for an operation that is being done at home, I chose to examine the preparation
of breakfast for it has many procedures and it is easy to understand and adjust. As we look on the time consumed
at each task, cooking and preparing of breakfast consumes 45 to 55 mins. approximately. I actually do this at
home and I observed that it has lots of unnecessary work to be eliminate to accomplish the work faster and
reduced some resources used.

4. Next is to develop it in an economic way. Look at the consumed time. We can actually minimize it by
multitasking since we are using a rice cooker in cooking the rice.

5. We can see that 15 mins of it will be eliminated. It’s now 30-40 mins. approximately. We also eliminated the
extra pan and oil that is supposed to be used in cooking of eggs.

6. In this operation, we simply eliminate the unnecessary work by doing it multitasking.

7. Prepare all the tools to be used in cooking and preparing our breakfast first before performing it. After the
preparation, we can now start cooking.

hotdogs are in the pan, we can whisk the eggs in the bowl, put some salt and pepper, set aside and get back on the
hotdogs. Just make sure that it is in medium heat. When the hotdogs are done, place the kitchen tissue in a plate.
Drain on a kitchen tissue. We can put the whisked eggs in the center of the pan, since the oil is still in heat. Flip to
cook the other side. Then, place the kitchen tissue in a plate. Drain on a kitchen tissue.
After cooking, we can now prepare the table. Put the placemat, then the plate. Place the fork on the left
side of the plate and the spoon on the right side. Place the glass on top of the plate. Now, get some cooked rice in
a separate plate. Also, get the plates of cooked hotdogs and eggs and set in the table. Get a pitcher of water.

8. By doing this in quite some time, I observed that this minimizes time and resources which I can use in doing other
house chores.
