General Instructions:

1. Contents of the Written Project:

a. Page 1 - Cover Page (with Name, Std, Div. and Topic)

b. Page 2 – Index

c. Page 3 – Acknowledgement

d. Page 4 onwards-

• Make a detailed map of your own,

using all the given conventional topographical maps and symbols.
• Write down the description of each Contour lines
• Explain what is Eastings and Northings - in your own words
• Describe the colors used to show certain features on the Map
• Bibliography and a Thank you/Concluding Page

e. The Project is to be completed in about minimum 10 to 12 pages.

f. Neat and tidy work is expected with no spelling errors.

g. Description of the project to be written in school sheets.

h. Draw all your pictures on the left side. (If you wish to include

additional/relevant pictures like old newspaper clippings/ printouts/

illustrations, you may do so).

i. The matter should be written on the right side.

j. The date is for submission of this Project will be notified shortly.
