Second: Ensure hygiene measures
• Provision of hand sanitizing & recom-
mended cleaning supplies.
• Provision of masks and gloves, which
should be changed regularly to maintain
effectiveness, especially where damaged,
soiled or contaminated.
• Discourage workers from using other
workers’ phones, desks, offices, or other
work tools and equipment.
• Ensure proper sanitization of ventila-
tion sources as well as air conditioning
units at work spaces and lounges.
• Ensure good ventilation in the work
environment.
• Install high-efficiency air filters.
• Launch awareness campaigns focused
on hygiene measures, including:
- Regular educational talks and presentations
to employees in groups, and preferably in
different languages.
- Regular reminders and announcements to
employees regarding hygiene and physical
distancing.
- Use of graphic posters, signage and leaflets
to explain hygiene practices and physical
distancing.
