ASSIGNMENT 2: ESSAY WRITING (Groupwork)

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Form a group of FIVE members.

2. Choose one pair of TED TALK videos provided by your lecturer. Each pair consists of
two TED TALK videos with a same theme.

3. Write a compare and contrast essay of the two videos.

4. In the introduction, write a brief summary about the videos.

5. For the body of essay, compare and contrast relevant aspects (content, background of the
speakers, delivery style, moral values, etc) presented in both videos. You are advised to
highlight 3 similarities and 3 differences from the videos.

6. Write a conclusion for your essay.

7. Your essay should be between 1200 to 1500 words and typewritten using Times New
Roman, Font 12, and 1.5 spacing.

8. Your assignment will be graded based on the task fulfilment and language.
