What I expect in Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) is that it will hard for me during
our training. It is because this is my first time experiencing this kind of training. But I expect
that I will learn a lot of things and training that I didn’t experience in my entire life. I know that
during and after this training I will be more disciplined. I can develop my knowledge about how
the soldiers train theirselves and learn what they’re doing when they’re training or practicing.
This training has a lot of benefit like staying physically fit and maintaining good health. It is
advantage for me as I choosed the Criminology course because I can apply every training I had
when I’m going to be a real Police/Soldier someday. After I learn more about the training it will
be less hard for me when I’m going to train when I became a Police/Soldier.

Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) will teach us the value of citizenship, community
service, teamwork and instilling self-esteem. It will motivate us to become a better citizen and
prepare us to be a responsible leader while living and working cooperatively with others,
develop the necessary skills to work with others effectively as a member of a team also making
us aware of our rights, responsibilities and privileges as Filipino citizens. Improve our logical
thinking, mental management abilities and to communicate with others effectively orally and
writing.

I hope that I can still learn a lot despite the new way of our class which is online because
of the pandemic (COVID-19) and I also hope that I can experience the real training of Reserve
Officer Training Corps (ROTC) soon. When the time comes that the training will start, I will enjoy
every training, cooperate and undoubtedly follow all instructions and command.
