Grade level teams will meet once every 5 weeks to review RTI student cases, ensure intervention plans and paperwork are completed correctly, and make data-driven decisions about student progress. Teams will establish group norms at their first meeting to stay focused during discussions. Administrators will attend the meetings, and teachers should consult the RTI chairs for any needed assistance.

What will your RTI Grade Level Meetings look like?
Grade level teams will meet once every 5 weeks
Admin will attend these meetings Refer to the RTI schedule for meeting dates In your first meeting, you will discuss, create, and record norms and expectations, which will be referred to throughout the year. This will help us stay focused and on-task during our meetings. You will use your meeting time to review your RTI students’ cases o Refer to the RTI documents (Flowchart, Procedure Checklist, MDT Form, etc.) to help each other make sure all action steps are being taken and the proper paper work is being filled out o Help each other write intervention plans o Be prepared to show graphs for the team to review o Watch that data line! If there are 4 data points in a row above the aim line, consider increasing the goal. If there are 4 data points in a row below the aim line, decide what changes will be made. Be sure to record these changes on the graph. Do not ever forget how amazing you are and how much you are needed and appreciated! Do not hesitate to consult with the RTI chairs, Manny Herrera and Denise Stoehr, for questions, help, guidance or support
