The Impact of Copyright and Fair Use on Education

Maintaining a knowledgeable idea of what copyright and fair use on Education

education can be reassuring and a correct procedures correct procedure to follow. You might

ask yourself why? The basic reason is that when you become an educator, you have access to

educator. So, taking the time to knowing which helpful source you can choose rightfully can

come a long way.

2019).You can always ask and should when you’re uncertain, When you're uncertain, you can always ask and

Now the biggest concern you might have is if your work is protected under fair use.

Obviously, yYou can never use the entire copyright of someone else’s work, but you can use

some of it. So, keeping in mind whether or not a particular use of an author work is a fair

usefair is key to successfully using it (Richard, 2020). You have the authority to claim their

work, but you have to understand that you need to develop something new rather than using
all his work. The general idea is to have less work from the author and keep it brief don’t over

do it.

In a simpler view, as future educators, you can use copyright throughout the web but

we need to have precautions. Especially You are especially giving good examples to the

students to understand and follow the appropriate way of using online material. There are

basic guidelines in all cases on how to insure ensure copyright and fair use in the classroom.

Like double double-checking with the website called US Copyright Office or documents that

have the copyright symbol (The Educator’s Guide to Copyright and Fair Use, n.d.). With

these basic understanding on what copyright and fair use can do for your classroom and the

freedom powerf what copyright and fair use can do for your classroom and the freedom to

ethically use creative work correctly and leg use creative work correctly and legally ethic ally.

Has created a flexible way for educators and students to gain the ability to improve in their

lesson work and education without infringement.
