Analysis

1. Do you agree with the differentiation between the West and the East? Why or Why
not? What are the factors that make the Philippines similar or different from its Asian
neighbors?

Answer: I absolutely agree with the differentiation between the West and the East. Other
than the fact that West mainly focuses their educational system on creativity, and the East
focuses their educational system on the struggle and hard work, we can see or hear that the
west looks for comprehension and information, while the west is additionally being unified
with the environment. East likewise gives more imperative to otherworldly life and
humankind while the west, then again, is more worried of logical clarification of the things.

The similar factors of the Philippines and Asian neighbors are more specifically the Culture
and Tradition. Philippines have many of the features that Asian neighbors also have. They
have the Farming, Bayanihan and Pasalubong which is other Asian country practices it as
well. Another thing that they have share in common is that they are all extremely corrupt and
very often utterly incompetent.

These are some of the cultures shared by a few Asian Countries. Asians are rich in culture,
distinct yet diverse and colorful culture. Up until now, these cultures are being practiced and
taught to the younger generations. These cultures need to be preserve as these are the marks
of authenticity of a country, society, and you as a person.
