First, the techniques used were holding a pencil correctly for proper shading, varying line thickness to indicate importance, and using an affordable pencil like Mongol 2. Drawing on past experience designing faces in high school also informed the work. Color techniques included back-and-forth strokes and blending colors to improve the drawings. The work processes were thinking of a design for each face, drawing eyes and nose first, adding designs like lines and colors, emphasizing details with markers, and applying color. These choices improved the drawings from blank faces and made them more presentable than expected.

WHAT TECHNIQUES, AND WORK PROCESSES DID YOU USE, AND WHY DID YOU MAKE
THOSE CHOICES? HOW DID YOUR CHOICES AFFECT YOUR OUTPUT?
First I will introduced the art materials that I used in this activity; Print out drawing faces, pencil, eraser, sign pen, and colour pencil. What technique and work processes did I use? The techniques that I used on my drawing are, first the use of the right grip on how to hold a pencil correctly. Because when you know how to draw, you also know what is the proper shading and position of a pencil. Second is the Vary line thickness, I used this technique so that it will help me through my drawing. Because thicker lines can help indicate importance or tell the viewer what they see in my drawing that lines. Third is pick the right pencil, since I don’t have the budget to buy a pencil for drawing I used the usual pencil which is Mongol 2. In an artist they consider the pencil that has a big impact on both the techniques you can use and the look of your find artwork. And last technique is draw on your own experience, way back in my 9 th grade High School days one of the activities that we took in our art subject was to design a plain mascara. So that’s why it is not new to me in designing faces or mascara. In my colour techniques I used the back and forth stroke, the back and forth stroke is probably the most common of all and easy to apply. And the last one is the blending of colours, I am not good at this technique but I did everything just to improve my drawing and looks nicely. The work processes on my drawings are; first I think of a design in each faces. Second, I started to draw the easiest one which is eyes and nose. Third, are the designs in each faces like, lines, shapes, curves, forms, and colours. Fourth, I emphasized the details of my drawing through the use of sign pen. And lastly, applying colours in my drawing. Furthermore I chose these techniques and work process in my output because it helps my drawings improved it, not totally beautiful but gives life to an ordinary and blank faces. Therefore, my choices have great impact on what I’ve drawn. I did not expect that by choosing the correct materials would have made my drawings very presentable and it would catch the eyes of those people that have seen my creations.
