3. Project : Message Information System


Client : Deutsche Bank, Private Wealth Management (PWM), USA

Description:

Deutsche Bank, New York deals with Private Wealth Management. It has
various financial products like GPLUS for accounting system, PBS for Deposits, LS2 for
loans, and IFTCS for Mutual funds etc. At the end of every month, each of these
systems generates various information like inflows, outflows, assets and revenues.

Data Mart collects all these reports from various systems and prepares a
consolidated report. The final report is then sent to Deutsche Bank, Switzerland.
There was a pre-defined coding methodology which is used to extract, transform and
load the data from the data warehouse to the data mart.

Responsibilities:

 Created mappings using Informatica designer, sessions using workflow manager and
tested the sessions using test data.
 Worked on different types of transformations like Source Qualifier, Expression,
Filter, Aggregator, Joiner, Rank, Update Strategy, and Lookup.
 Imported sources and targets to create mappings.
 Analysis of feeds sent by the various systems like GPLUS, IFTCS, and LS2 etc.
 Reviewed the mappings developed by other team members.
 Resolved if any issues in transformations and mappings.
 Used Informatica features to implement Type II changes in slowly changing
dimension tables.
 Involved in developing SQL overrides in source Qualifier according to business
requirements.

2. Project : Balance System

Description:

This Project deals with export order of the company and


confirmation of the order through the e-mail. One temporary file was created at the
time of entry of data was entered control automatically moves the mail-to-mail
program. That files resides in the clipboard and as soon the mail address is given and
that is attached through, command and sent mail. It produces the report like
confirmed export orders for the period, pending export orders, order exported through
which courier, monthly export summary etc.

Responsibilities:

 Extensively used different transformations like Source Qualifier, filter, Aggregator,


Expression, Unconnected Lookup, Router, Update Strategy and Unconnected Stored
Procedure.
 Created mappings, transformations, sessions and workflows.
 Preparation of mapping documents by automation scripts using repository view
concepts.
 Designed and implemented various transformations using Informatica Designer.
 Extraction, Transformation and loading of data from flat file and Oracle sources.
 Prepared some unit test cases for testing the data.
 Created and monitored sessions using Informatica Workflow Manager and Workflow
Monitor.
 Maintain and Display the customer information.
