a)Whats is a keyboard?

is an input device or peripheral, partly inspired by the keyboard of typewriters

b)What are the major parts of a keyboard?

The important parts of the keyboard are: the alphanumeric keyboard, the numeric
keyboard, the function keys, and the special keys.

c)Describe each part of a keyboard.

Numeric keyboard:
It is that group of keys, located on the right side of a keyboard, which is composed, in a
reduced space, by the sequence of numbers from 1 to 0.

Alphanumeric keyboard:
It is the group of keys that cover the largest space on the keyboard, and similar to the
keyboard of a typewriter, since it includes all the letters of the alphabet, the sequence of
numbers 1-0 and the punctuation and accent marks. In addition, it includes a space bar,
a key to erase and an Enter.

Special Keys:
They are a key block located in the middle of the keyboard, just between the
alphanumeric and numeric keyboard, although it may vary depending on the keyboard
model.

Function keys:
They are a set of keys located at the top of the keyboard, ranging from the key that
contains an F1 to the last one that contains an F12 and allow the execution of different
shortcuts of the computer system, depending on the program that is running.

A digitized tablet or graphics tablet is a peripheral that allows the user to enter graphics or
drawings by hand, just as they would with pencil and paper. It also allows pointing and
pointing at objects on the screen.

e)Describe the speech recognition devices.

These are the microphones and they help us to communicate through the internet.

f)Which are the uses of speech recognition system?

It is a computational tool capable of processing the voice signal emitted by humans and
recognizing the information contained in it, converting it into text or issuing orders that
act on a process.

g)describe the types of scanners.

Within this typology are included: Book scanner: with specific measurements for different
books. Sheet feeder scanner: similar to photocopiers, widely used in companies.

h)What’s the vision input system?

The entrance to the visual system is the eyeball. In this organ the process of transduction of
the information derived from the visual field occurs. That is, the electromagnetic energy of
the stimulus shown by the image is transformed into encoded information that is sent to
nerve centers where it is processed.
