Meaning of Trait:
• a distinguishing quality or characteristic, typically one
belonging to a person.
What is morality and ethics?
• Put simply, morals are the customs established by
group of individuals whereas ethics defines the
character of an individual.

Scenario #1
• You are the owner of a software engineering
company. Your employees (engineers) want
you to pay for them to attend training.
• How would you respond in a way that is
legal, moral, and ethical?

• You are the owner of a software engineering company. Your
employees (engineers) want you to let them do pro bono work
for a local non-profit organization on company time.
• How would you respond in a way that is legal, moral, and
ethical?
• Note:
• Meaning of Pro bono refers to any work or service that someone provides
free of charge for the common good. From the Latin phrase "pro bono
publico" meaning "for the public good," the motivation behind pro bono
work is to benefit society as opposed to making money. Pro bono work
often refers to legal services offered without taking a fee.
