W500 Series machine.

This instruction manuai describes daily routine

maintenance and safety precautions to keep
the machine in the best possible conditions.

Please study this manual very carefully

before operating the machine.

TTiough Pegasus takes the utmost care to
DToduce safe sewing machines and devices,
ooerators should follow these tesic safety
rules
• To orevent accidents, do not remove safety
devices or oarts while ooerating the
machine.
•Do not leave tools or other unnecessary
objects on the machine table while
ooerating the machine.
• Before maintenance, adjusting, cleaning,
threading or reolacing the needle and to
orevent accidents, be sure the oower is
turned off. Check that the machine wiii not
ooerate when the oedal is oressed.
—Note
In case a crutch tyoe motor is used, it iii
keen on rotation by inertia after turning
off oower suooiy®. if the machine oedal
©is steooed on inadvertently, it is
dangerous because the machine will move
unexoectediy. Keeo on steooing on the
oedai ©until the machine comes to a stoo
after turning off oower suooiy.
•Turn the oower off before leaving the
machine table.
>In the event of a oower failure, be sure to
turn the machine off.
•Check that the machine is securely
grounded.

sufficient to obtain the proper stitch
formation.

While pressing the push button, turn the handwheel

to seek the position at which the push button goes
further into the depth.
Then, keeping the push button pressed, turn the hand-
wheel and set the desired scale to the aligning mark.
