    Dear Hon. Montero:

    Greetings in Christ.

    We, in the Department of Education have been tirelessly preparing for the school opening
    on October 5, 2020 under the “new normal” set up to ensure the continuity of learning among our
    youth. After thorough deliberation, our school is implementing the distance learning through
    modular approach since most of our learners do not have access to internet connectivity.

    In line with this, our teachers will be distributing the orientation and Week 1 modules to
    the parents as well as the learning modules to the students in their respective purok or barangay’s
    drop off and pick up point which were previously identified by our class advisers.

    In this regard, the barangay council has been very supportive in every endeavor that we
    take, hence I am requesting from your good office if we can utilize the barangay’s service vehicle on
    October 2, 2020 to transport our teachers from one place to another to distribute the necessary
    materials for our learners which will start at 8:00 in the morning.

    I am hoping for a positive response from your end and that my request will be
    accommodated despite the short notice. Thank you very much and more power.
