First law of thermodynamics is related to coservation of energy that explains that
energy cannot be created nor destroyed by any means, it can only be converted to
another form of energy. This law characterizes relations between physical quantities like
temperature, energy and entropy. The connection of these physical amounts can be
given in various manners relating with Work, Internal Energy of a system.

The

system shown on figure 1.0 is our research last time in the subject purposive
communication. It is a system that involves rumble strips and piezoelectric. Piezoelectric
devices can generate electrical charge by putting direct pressure and mechanical stress
to it. We slightly tweak a piezoelectric device to fit it into a rumble strip. A rumble strip is
known as sleeper lines, audible line, etc. It is a safety measure to alert drivers when they
are off the track of the road. We mainly use the transverse rumble strip because it is the
most used rumble strip, it is located at the center of the road not like the other rumble
strips that are on sides. Our system works by converting mechanical energy into
electrical energy, this electrical energy are formed by electrical sparks by mechanical
pressure made by car that are running thru the rumble strips were our system lies on.
There is enough energy produce by this system to give power to light bulbs around it
and by this it helps us with the power cost.

Our project is amazing enough to impress companies because who would have
thought that a car running over a simple rumble stips can produce electricity to power
streetlights and lower the electrical cost. Converting mechanical energy to electrical
energy without the help of physical power of a human is hard to cross by not like the
common system of bicycle that converts to electricity that needs a physical force of a
human to work.
