PUBLIC WEATHER ADVISORY:


TROPICAL STORM “ENTENG”

1. REFERENCES:
a. DOST-PAGASA 24-Hour Severe Weather Bulletin #6-Final; Issued at 5:00
PM 09 August 2020;
b. Cordillera RDRRMC Memorandum No. 26, s. 2020 re Reiteration of
COVID-19 DILG and DOH Guidelines in Connection with the Protocols in
the Evacuation Centers (ECs) involving Hydro Meteorological Hazards

2. At 1:00 PM today, Tropical Storm (TS) “ENTENG” exited the Philippine Area
of Responsibility (PAR)

3. At 4:00 PM today, the center of TS “ENTENG” was estimated at 730 km


Northeast of Basco, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR). It is moving Northward at 40
km/h with maximum sustained winds of 75 km/h near the center and
gustiness of up to 90 km/h.

4. The public, member-agencies of the Cordillera RDRRMC, and the Local


Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils (LDRRMCs) are advised
to:

a. Continue monitor weather updates


b. Conduct Rapid Damage Assessment and Needs Analysis (RDANA)
c. Conduct clearing operation, cutting fallen trees, branches, etc.
d. Inspect power lines, structural integrity, etc.
e. Rationalize sustainment of evacuation centers
f. Provide timely situational reports to the Cordillera RDRRMC
Emergency Operations Center; and
g. Be proactive at all times.
