The Relation of
Carbon Cycle to the
Environment
CARBON CYCLE
The picture depicts the carbon cycle as a biogeochemical cycle in which carbon is
exchanged among the biosphere, pedosphere, geosphere, hydrosphere, and
atmosphere of the Earth. All living things are made of carbon. Carbon is also a
part of the ocean, air, and even rocks. Since the Earth is a dynamic place,
carbon does not stay still, it is on the move.
The Co2 from atmosphere is taken up by the organic compounds or plants which
use it to make their food. If Co2 would not be there in the atmosphere then plants
would not be able to make their food and the greenery would die from the face
of earth. Carbon Cycle Energy plays an integral role in Earth’s
natural carbon cycle. CO2 is removed from Earth’s atmosphere through the
process of photosynthesis that occurs in land-borne plants and in the ocean’s
aquatic biomass. This is a process called carbon sequestration and it is
nature’s way of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Choose one household appliance/gadget which you find it indispensable to you and
family. Why do you find it indispensable? Identify the simple machine concept
involved.
The gadget that I find indispensable for me and my family is the cellphone.
This is important because, through this, we can interact and
connect with our family and friends, particularly because my father is away
from us. Cellphones are the best way
to stay connected with others. The importance of cell phones goes way
beyond the ability to make or receive phone calls. These days one of
the most important devices you can use to help with your life is a cell phone.
There is so much that you can do with a cell phone and so many different
ways in which they play a key role in your life. Cellphone is composed of a
compound or complex machine because it is made up of two or more simple
machines that make your work easier. This is all because of
the innovations and technology of our society.
