Present Simple_ Affirmative:


 Regra Geral: ir à 3ª pessoa do singular (He/She/ it) acrescentar +s
 Verbos terminados em :-o, -sh, -x, ch: ir à 3ª pessoa do singular (He/She/
it) acrescentar +es
Exemplo: gogoes She goes to school by bus.
brushbrushes He brushes his teeth.
WatchWatches Tom watches TV all day.
 Verbos terminados em vogal+y: ir à 3ª pessoa do singular (He/She/ it)
acrescentar +s
Exemplo: playplays
 Verbos terminados em consoante+y: ir à 3ª pessoa do singular (He/She/
it) retiro o –y e acrescentar +ies
 Exemplo: StudyStudies
Negative form:
Auxiliar to do: I/you/we/they: don’t + verbo principal (entre parênteses)
He/she/it: doesn’t + verbo principal (entre parênteses)
Interrogative form:
Auxiliar Do I/you/we/they verbo principal (entre parênteses)
Does He/she/it verbo principal (entre parênteses)

Present continuous:
Auxiliar to be no presente simple + (verbo principal+ing)
To Be Exemple: Tom ________________ (do)
his homework.
I am
Tom is doing his homework.

Mary and Tom _____________ (study)

Quando é que eu utilizo o Present Continuous??? Sempre que na frase tiver
expressões como:
-at this moment
-now, right now
-look
- tomorrow
