TEACHER EDUCATION
One of the courses Jennifer participated in requires off campus and extra hours of
tutoring in a classroom. Jennifer approached this requirement with a zest for learning all
she could and built a relationship with the classroom students and cooperating teacher.
She is still in touch with that teacher and lends a helping hand in the classroom anytime
she is able. This is the kind of person that I would want as an employee – one that is
willing to go the extra mile and do it with diligence, kindness, and excellence.
As her professor, I can attest to the quality of Jennifer’s coursework and attitude
towards her educational goals. She is always willing to share ideas, work as a team
member to achieve excellence in assignments, presentations or teaching a strategy in the
classroom. Jennifer is determined to produce outstanding work and goes above and
beyond the requirements of coursework. She is a joy to have in the classroom as an active
participant in activities and discussions; offering relevant and useful perspectives.
Jennifer’s commitment to academic excellence is also reflected in her Dean’s List
recognition at both El Paso Community College and at UTEP; as well as her award of a
UTEP academic scholarship.
Jennifer’s continued work as a classroom volunteer and as an intern with the Texas
Parks & Wildlife department demonstrates her community-mindedness and desire to
make a difference in the world through education. For she is passionate about her future
career as an educator and I feel sure she will positively impact her future students thus
changing the world for the better!
As you can tell, I think very highly of Jennifer, and thank you for the opportunity to
recommend an outstanding student and person to you. If I can be of further assistance in
Jennifer’s application process, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
