Lesson Steps (Lesson content, structure, strategies & Key Questions):
Eight items:
Show students the eight items (4 old, 4 new) on the back two desks.
- Record player
Ask students to choose items (2 students at a time) and sit back down.
- CD player
Use A3 paper to write a sign saying New and a sign saying Old, and place on

either side of the classroom.
- Dial up phone
Students are then asked to find where they belong (with assistance)
- Typewriter
- Laptop/ipad
Once students have found their side ask what item they have (eg. Phone)

Help students find another student with the same object (e.g. Mobile phone=
