SHOULD COLLEGES BE FAITH BASED INSTITUTIONS?

Response : yes
Faith based institutions are formal and informal educational institutions old schools founded and
administered by faith based organisations or religious non governmental organisations.

Colleges should be faith based institutions because:

1. Development of career.

A faith based institution teaches how to incorporate our religion into our studies and well into our
careers.

2. Guidance and mentors.

In a faith based institution proffesors share your faith and as a result youre surrounded by mentors
who share your values.

3. Diversity in faith.

Different religion enable learners to appreciate other peoples religion and also learn more about
their religion.

4. Fosters community

Faith based institution promote community bondage and social cohesion among them.

5. Faith based institutions are less expensive

With the numerous scholarships available , students are able to get the same education in a
supportive community at a fraction of the cast.

6. Fun activities’

Faith based institutions still sponsor social events,gatherings ,concerts and frequent right out which
can still honour your faith.

7. Faith based institutions offers relief ,resilience and hope for conflict affected communities as
well as a well mobilising structures.
8. Faith based institution connects the humans to the sacred which may be conceived as either
a singular God ,divine,powers,spirits,or something non-personal.
9. Norms and virtues taught are a source of capital and constructive change.
10. Strengthens ones faith

In a faith based institution,one’s faith is strengthened with mentors and peers who share
one’s faith.

11. Children ,youth and adults who never received basic education who never received basic
education have equal access to enter and continue to study at basic education level.
