In order to increase product quality, machine technical specifications may be changed

without telling beforehand. The photos in the user manual are representative photos. So,
they may not be as completely same as with your machine.

1. DESCRIPTION
This machine is designed to mix mortars

a planetary motion and is driven by a

motor and inverter for achieving two Motor Rating (watts) 250

speeds. The machine is used as a simple to operate, two speed mixers.

Mixing head (See Figure 1): Utilize planetary gearing and transmits the drive from the motor to the
mixing paddle.
Mixing paddle (See Figure 1): Screws onto the output spindle of the mixing head.
Mixing bowl (See Figure 1): The flange has a notch which fits over a location spigot to ensure that the
bowl is always fitted in the same position and also prevents rotation of the bowl.
Bowl clamp (See Figure 1): Incorporates a spring loaded mechanism and holds the bowl in position
within the locating lugs.
Upper locating lugs (See Figure 1): Position the bowl centrally to the mixing head.
Release handle (See Figure 1): Used to operate the bowl clamp. The mixer will not start unless this
handle is in the vertical position. Any attempt to release the bowl clamp when the mixing head is
running will cause it to stop.

2. INSTALLATION
Safety
Whilst the test is in operation, do not remove any covers or attempt to adjust any part of the
machine. Ensure all moving parts are thoroughly secured before attempting any maintenance.
Ensure all appropriate measures are taken to protect the operator from excessive noise.
Electrical safety

Before removing any covers or performing maintenance repair and service, isolate from electrical
supply by removing mains plug. Where mains supply is required during these activities, only
competent persons should perform the work. Check that the power supply is compatible with the
requirements stated on the label and connect in accordance with IEE regulations or to local
requirements. The power cable is coded as follows:

3. OPERATION
Attaching the mixing bowl
Always ensure that the handle of the mixing bowl is at the front of the machine. Whilst holding the
bowl handle in the left hand insert the bowl into the location lug at the rear, ensuring that the
locating spigot is engaged in the notch in the bowl flange. Lift the front of the bowl until the flange is
inserted within all the front location lugs and then clamp into position by pushing the bowl
clamp/release handle upwards until it locks into position.

Removing the mixing bowl

Whilst supporting the mixing bowl by its handle with the left hand, lower the bowl clamp by pulling
the bowl clamp/release handle downwards. Lower the front of the bowl until the flange clears the
side location lugs then withdraw the bowl away from the rear location lug (with the locating spigot).

According to how much material is in the bowl, it may help to support the bowl with the right hand
before extracting it from the location lugs.

Removing and attaching the mixing paddle

With the power switch turned to OFF, the bowl removed and
the bowl clamp lowered, the mixing paddle unscrews from its
shaft by turning it in an anticlockwise direction. Attaching the
paddle is a reverse of the above procedure.

Mixing

Turn the machine on with the POWER switch. Control the

mixer with the low or high speed.

4. MAINTENANCE
Adjust the mixing paddle clearance every 3 months. Remove
the mixing paddle. Unscrew the locking ring. Add or remove
spacer as required. Refit and re-tighten the locking ring. Refit
the mixing paddle. It is important that mixing paddle shaft
must be prevented of rotating. Clean the mixing paddle and

bowl as soon as possible after mixing.
